Hello friends and enemies. I hope you are having a nice start to your holiday season.
Either way, I highly recommend keeping the festive horror films rolling, until at least the new year. Gremlins, The Thing, Misery, Psycho, The Shining, so many cold classics to choose from. (Any movie containing snow or decorations, is a Christmas movie. Just so we are clear.)
One of my favourite holiday horrors is Black Christmas, the 1974 version specifically. I’m not choosing it because we are both Canadian, I am just really into everything about ’70s horror.
That said, I respect your position if the first of the remakes (2006), is your favourite. If you choose the latest version though (2019) — get off my blog! Or, explain yourself, I suppose.

My favourite person to watch Black Christmas with, is horror host, Joe Bob Briggs. He likes to tell really sad stories around the holidays and I adore how depressing they are. You can check out Joe Bob on The Last Drive-In, streaming on Shudder.com.
