
Eating is a huge task, one that can feel completely impossible when depressed. I spent a lot of last year, stuck in bed, depressed and unable to eat. Starving never really helps my mood. Which makes a lot of sense.
So now I’ve learned to order (in advance) a bunch of Sperri (my preferred meal replacement shakes as they don’t flare up my Crohn’s Disease). Being all stocked up when I hit a particularly brutal wall of depressive symptoms has been helpful.
I’m sharing this tip and product because I know I’m not the only one who struggles with both Crohn’s Disease and severe depression.
